Building collaborative leadership, teamwork and facilitation skills across your organization produces a culture distinguished by shared responsibility, commitment, alignment, and extraordinary results. If you would like to train a large number of people, licensing may be the most cost effective route.

A licensing contract allows your organization to train your own internal trainers to deliver the following IISC workshops:

Developing a cadre of skilled trainers gives you the flexibility to address your needs as they arise. Training for Trainers is intended only for people whose organizations license the workshop, and only for delivery within their organization. It is not available to independent trainers or for delivery outside of the licensed organization.

The Licensing and Trainer Certification Process is a series of interrelated phases:

Phase 1:

Trainer Candidate Selection. We help you to identify appropriate candidates.

Phase 2:

Attend the Workshop; Use the Tools. Trainer candidates begin the certification process by experiencing the workshop as a participant and then putting what they’ve learned into practice.

Phase 3:

Training for Trainers Workshop. The Training for Trainers Workshop provides trainer candidates with in-depth knowledge of the workshop content and process.

Phase 4:

Trainer Certification. In this phase, trainer candidates co-train the workshop with the support, coaching and training back-up of IISC certification coaches until they are fully certified (typically after co-training at least twice).

Phase 5:

Fully Licensed Organization. Once trainer candidates have been certified, we consider them able to deliver the licensed workshops without on-site coaching from our certification coaches. IISC trainers can also be scheduled to supplement client trainer capacity as needed. To further trainers’ skill development, we recommend participation in IISC’s The Masterful Trainer™ workshop.
