PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION:
From the MBTA(T):
Take the Red Line to Harvard Square and within the (T) Station, follow the signs to buses. Take the #71 or #73 bus to the intersection of Mt. Auburn Street and Homer Avenue (this stop is directly in front of the Shaw’s/Star Supermarket, approximately three stops past Mt. Auburn Hospital). Walk back one-half block to 625 Mt. Auburn Street. Enter the building through the glass doors, proceed through another set of glass doors, turn right and then immediately left. The entrance to the Interaction Institute for Social Change will be on your right.
DRIVING DIRECTIONS:
From Logan Airport and the Mass Turnpike:
Follow signs from the airport to the Ted Williams Tunnel and the Mass Pike (I-90). From the Pike, take the Cambridge/Brighton exit and proceed through the tolls using one of the right lanes. After the tolls, bear right following the sign to Cambridge. Merge into the traffic and continue straight through the lights and over the bridge. Turn left onto Memorial Drive on the far side of the river. Follow Memorial Drive directions below.
From 1-93 Southbound:
Take exit 26 (Storrow Drive/North Station) and take the underpass to Storrow Drive. Follow Storrow Drive west approximately four miles to the Harvard Square/Cambridge exit. Turn right at the end of the ramp and get into the left lane. Immediately after crossing the river, turn left onto Memorial Drive and follow the Memorial Drive instructions below.
From Boston (Memorial Drive):
Take Memorial Drive westbound. Follow Memorial Drive along the Charles River (on your left), past Harvard University. Following signs for Arlington Routes 2 & 3, bear right at the light (Mt. Auburn Hospital will be on your right). Immediately move into the left lanes and bear left at the fork through a set of lights (following signs to Rt. 16 South, Watertown). You will now be on Mt. Auburn Street. Continue through two sets of lights and turn right at the third set of lights (just before Shaw’s/Star Market) onto Homer Avenue. Take the first right onto a small access road (before the brick building) leading into the parking lot for the offices at 625 Mt. Auburn Street.
Parking and Building Access: Important information if you plan to park in our lot. Please make sure you’ve received and printed the IISC/IA parking pass. Place this in the dashboard of your car and park in any spot marked “visitor” (nearest to the building) or any unmarked spot. Enter the building from the parking lot through a double set of glass doors. Take the elevator or stairs to the second floor. When you arrive in our office, please check in at our reception desk to let us know that you have parked in the lot and to leave your license plate number.

Interaction Institute for Social Change is 6-1/2 miles or 20-30 min. from the Logan International Airport and taxi fares run approximately $40.00 (with tip). Amtrak’s South Station is 4-5 miles from IISC.
